How does WordPress eat a post March 4, 2008

I was typing up a post over at my recipe blog. I had it all typed up and set it for a future post date and saved it and hit publish. I then proceeded to click on view link and I get some weird error that said my post was not there and never had been. How does that happen? I have never encountered that before and have been using WordPress since January of this year. Anyway, happy blogging to all.
